WHAT’S A DOUBLE ELBOW?

Breweries are home to lots of stainless steel bits that connect one fitting to another, usually for the purpose of moving liquid around. The Double Elbow pictured in our logo is perhaps the king of these kludges: two back to back 90 degree elbows allow you to connect almost anything to almost anything else. Multiple planes of connectivity at your sanitizer-soaked fingertips. 

Double Elbow seeks to connect things in small but meaningful ways. We produce small batches of lager bier that pay faithful homage to continental European flavors, aromas, and textures, but that are made entirely from American-grown ingredients.

Double Elbow is the brainchild/side project of Niko Tonks, who’s been making beer for a while now, and is produced at Little Thistle Brewing in Rochester, MN, where he’s also the head brewer. Come say hi.
